The Remedy Developer will support BMC Remedy ITSM suite of applications. The candidate will participate in the design and implementation of various integrations of the BMC Remedy Suite with other applications. In addition, the developer will provide guidance best practices regarding integration protocols.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field of study plus 10 years of design & development experience

Great communication skills both written and oral

Provide innovative solutions to complex issues

Experience prioritizing and managing tasks/time with little direction

Experience with software development life cycle methodologies

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the design, administration, operation, configuration, upgrades, migration, project planning, and maintenance of Remedy AR System platform, ITSM applications, Smart IT, Digital Work Place, population of CMDB and custom Applications.

Designed & developed integration between Remedy applications and external third party tools and applications.

Responsible for gathering business requirements and translating them into solutions in the BMC ITSM Suite applications such as Incident Management, Change Management, Problem, Service Request Management and Asset Management.

Responsible for troubleshooting application and infrastructure issues as it relates to the architecture of the Remedy system inclusive of workflow such as Active Links, Filters, Escalations, Filter and Active Link Guides..etc

Responsible for the configuration and maintenance of Service Level Management, capturing and managing SLAs and OLAs

Technical Requirements:

Must have integration experience between Remedy and other applications via Remedy native API, Atrium Integrator (Spoon), Rest API and/or BMC Helix iPaas

Must have experience in writing custom workflows using Remedy forms and objects like Active Links, Filters and Escalations

Must have strong knowledge of relational databases (Oracle), PL/SQL, DB Links, Views etc.

CMDB (Class Manager, Normalization, Reconciliation, Data Administration, Class Data Model)

License/Certification:

BMC Certified Developer: AR System (Preferred)

BMC Certified Administrator: AR System (Preferred)

BMC Certified Administrator: BMC Atrium CMDB (Preferred)

 BMC Helix Innovation in a Containerized/On-prem environment is a plus
