Pigment Removal Laser

Description:

Pigment Removal Laser is used to perform skin treatments for aesthetic and therapeutic purposes. During the treatment, a handheld device is passed across the skin’s surface delivering pulses of broad-spectrum light to the deep layers of the skin.

How many Pigment Removal Laser treatments do I need?

Pigment Removal Laser are usually a series of treatments (typically 3 to 6) depending on the needs of the patient.

How to maintain the best results.

Minimal sun exposure after treatments and maintain SPF and coverage. We recommend discontinuing retinol/retinoid use for several days prior to the procedure and several days after.

What is the downtime?

Pigment Removal Laser patients experience minimal to no downtime after treatment, but neck and decollete will have longer healing times.

Is there anything to avoid pre treatment/during series?

Pre-treatment and through your series, avoid plucking, waxing or extraction of hair. Shaving is recommended. Also, discontinue the use of spray tans and other pigmented lotions for 2 weeks prior a session.

Post Treatment Care:

We recommend sun protection pre and post sessions.

How often do you recommend?

A series of 3-4 sessions is recommended for optimal results. Scheduled at 4-week intervals, this gives your skin plenty of time to heal before the next treatment.

What results can I expect?

The results from a pigment removal laser treatment you can expect will be improved color and texture of the skin. This includes improvement of redness, sun damage, age spots, acne and more.
